Bring your ideas to life with stop motion animation!
The Island Media Arts Festival (a project of The Island Media Arts Co-op) and the Confederation Centre Art Gallery are teaming up to bring another free public film making workshop to Charlottetown. This year’s workshop will be a three day stop motion animation clinic where all ages are invited to come and create their own stop motion short to be screened at a special screening during the 2012 IMAF festival this May.
The workshop will be taught by B.J. McCarville and Dave Bennett, who will take participants through prop creation, story development, animating, basic computer editing and sound editing, during three days of intensive hands-on creation.
The workshop schedule is April 19 (6-9pm) , 20 (6-8pm) and 21 (1-4pm).
For more information and to preregister please contact B.J. McCarville at bmccarville@confederationcentre.com or 628-6112.
