Porsha Gauthier

Porsha Gauthier is a senior entertainment lawyer and strategic business leader with over 14 years of experience spanning entertainment law, media production, and corporate governance. She is recognized for negotiating complex deals, guiding cross-border transactions, and aligning legal frameworks with creative and commercial objectives.

Porsha has served in executive roles across Canada’s media and entertainment industry, including as Director of Business & Legal Affairs at WildBrain Studios and Vice President of Operations & Legal at Spin Master Corp. She has extensive experience leading high-performing teams, managing enterprise risk, and advising on mergers, acquisitions, licensing, and intellectual property.

In her current practice as a legal and business consultant, Porsha provides strategic advisory services to SMEs in film, television, technology, and consumer goods, translating complex legal and regulatory issues into actionable business strategies. She is also an elected board member of FilmPEI and holds dual admission to the Law Societies of Ontario and British Columbia.

A global traveller and dual citizen of Canada and Ireland, Porsha combines her legal acumen with a passion for creative industries, long-distance running, hot yoga, and literature.
