Bretten Hannam is a Two-Spirit filmmaker of Mi'kmaw, Ojibwe, and Scottish ancestry living in Kespukwitk, Mi’kma’ki (Nova Scotia) where he was raised. His films deal with themes of community, culture, language, and tradition with a focus on Two-Spirit / LGBTQ and gender identity. Donna Davies is a filmmaker from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Her foray into film began at Island Media Arts Co-op and The Atlantic Filmmaker’s Co-op where she made a number of shorts including Town Shoe Repair, Seven Crows and A Space for Sara.
