KIDS!!!! COME AND CELEBRATE SHORTS! on December 21st at City Cinema.
Have you heard of The Shortest Day, an annual cross country celebration of short films? From December 19-21 join us for free screening of some of the best in Canadian shorts. What better way to welcome the Winter solstice while celebrating our talented filmmakers?
From Newfoundland and Labrador to Yukon, more than 60 participating venues – movie theatres, cultural centres, associations, festival and libraries – will join the celebration and hold free screenings of one or several of the three thematic programs: Kids, Family and Comedy. A wonderful opportunity for audiences to discover talented Canadian filmmakers who have been honoured here and abroad on the festival circuit.
This is a family friendly event! Come out to City Cinema on Dec 21 at 2pm … there may even be a surprise guest. For more info click here.
